some people say that this sort of thing happens more and more often because we're less in tune with mother nature than we ever were before. environmentalists, ecologists and such. i mean, don't get me wrong, i love you guys and you're probably right. i mean, i don't even seem to be able to get in tune with myself, let alone giant waves. but back to the point, such people are often heard saying that we need to pay more atention to mother nature's warning signs... i wonder. maybe there's some zen-master in japan who heard her cry "hey! move that crap outta the way!"...
